Students need confirmed seat letter from Australian institute before filing the visa.

PR can be applied if candidate is able to score 120 points after studying 2 years in Australia. These points depend on your age, qualifications, work experience, state sponsorship and several other factors.

Is there any automatic post study work permit in Australia?
No, there is no automatic post study work permit in Australia. But if the student is sponsored by some sponsor then he can get work permit. Students can also take state sponsorship.
