I hereby declare, on oath, ……. these are the first keywords for the oath of allegiance after being a U.S. Citizen. Though its' not an easy or a small process for capturing the PR (Permanent Resident) quill on any one's cap; albeit need utilization of full process and documented manner.

Let me clear before moving ahead - If an immigrant is being a Permanent Resident in the United States for at least 5 years, (If immigrant is married to a U.S. citizen then the figure reduces to 3 years) may become naturalized. Certificate of Naturalization is a paper / document / certificate in the format of Form N-550 or N-570 after getting citizenship through naturalization.

While applying for it, you must also demonstrate the ability to read and write English on a simple level and a basic knowledge of U.S. history. And the administrator will test your ability to cope up with the process and test with few questions say 10 and you must pass by giving at least 6 correct answers. Otherwise you have (only) one another attempt, before waiting for next try after 60 to 90 days.

Now the user can use this document to apply for an American Passport. This certificate is being provided by USCIS during a naturalization oath ceremony. Now this is the time to feel 'Proud to be American'. No one; if is not a U.S. citizen by the naturalized process; could apply for Certificate of Naturalization.
It clearly indicates that if I have the Naturalization Certificate then I can apply to get Certificate of Citizenship under the provisions of Section 341 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

This is also called a Proof of US Citizenship
But be careful after getting these certificate / documents and try to keep them safe because if you lost it anywhere then it will be a threat to your identity. Though a process for getting another copy of these certificates can also be instantiated by filling application for Replacement Naturalization / Citizenship Document" in the form of Form N-565 to INS department or can get help from department by dialing - 1-800-870-3676.
