This article is free information for people who are interested in claiming for whiplash. When doing this the first thing to be mindful of is that it is actually the severity of the whiplash injury that dictates the amount of compensation that you recieve from it, so the more severe the injury itself, the more likely you are to recieve a larger amount of compensation. The first stage in claiming for whiplash is to find a reputable company to make an enquiry with, if they have a website, you should be able to apply through that, if not you could try the telephone directory or a similar source of information and contact details. Once you complete an enquiry with the company of your choice, they should then contact you at the time that you specified on the form, when they make contact with you, they will ask you a series of questions about your case, to determine the details that they need in order to build up the evidence that is nessesary to make your whiplash case a successful one. Pending an investigation the company will then be able to tell you whether or not you have a viable claim. If you do then have a viable claim, which 80% of cases for whiplash are the legal proceedings will then commence and either the case itself will be settled out of court, or they may be a court hearing, where your case would be taken into court. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you the best of luck in your whiplash claim.
