Although nothing official has been published yet the UK GOVT has made it abundantly clear that their intention is to further tighten the regulations and implement a "cap" on the numbers of foreigners entering the UK. <br /> <br /> I have been most types of UK applications since 2003 and as with the majority of desired immigration destinations in the world today there has been major changes to the systems, policies and procedure of applications to the UK. <br /> <br /> Just last week the UKBA announced that from Autumn 2010 the spouses of immigrants or people settled in the UK making applications to join their partners will need to sit an English test to prove their level of English BEFORE coming to the UK. It is my opinion that this is not the end of the world as anyone wishing to live in England should rightfully possess some proved level of English....it makes sense. <br /> <br /> What I do not necessarily agree with is that the Govt dictates who provides this test, as with most countries I believe all testing should be done through the British Council in the country of Origin.
